SWR increases frequency of trains

South Western Railways has increased the frequency of the following trains, but the actual dates of commencement of these services will be announced later.

*  Train Nos 12629/12630 Yeshwantpur-Nizamuddin Sampark Kranthi Express which is running two days a week will run four days a week with two services extended to Chandigarh.

* Train Nos 56221/56222 Bangalore City-Tumkur City Passenger and Train Nos 56525/56526 Bangalore City-Tumkur Passenger which has been running six days a week will run daily. Revision in timings with effect from July 1.

*  Train Nos 16557/16558 Bangalore City-Mysore Rajya Rani Express: Train No.16558 will depart Bangalore City at 10.10 am instead of 8.15 am and arrive at Mysore at 1.50 pm instead of 11.15 am.

In the return direction, Train No.16557 will depart Mysore at 2.25 pm instead of 4.25 pm as at present and arrive Bangalore City at 5.10 pm instead of 7.20 pm.

* Train Nos.17303/17304  Mysore-Yeshwantpur Malgudi Express: Train No. 17303/17304 will run with the revised Train Nos. as Train Nos.16023/16024. Accordingly, Train No.16023 will depart from Mysore at 8.15 am instead of 12 noon and arrive at Yeshwantpur at 11.30 am instead of 3.40 pm. In the return direction, Train No.16024 will depart Yeshwantpur at 1.30 pm instead of 11.20 am and arrive at Mysore at 5 pm instead of 2.50 pm. 

*  Train Nos.16535/16536 Yeshwantpur-Solapur Gol Gumbaz Express: Train No.16535/16536 Yeshwantpur-Solapur-Yeshwantpur Gol Gumbaz Express will run to Mysore as a Special Train Nos. 06559/06560 Mysore-Yeshwantpur-Mysore Special. These trains will run in the path of extension of Train Nos.16535/16536 to Mysore. Accordingly, Train No.16535 will depart  Yeshwantpur at 7.30 pm instead of 7.45 pm, and arrive at Solapur at 1.30 pm (no change). In the return direction, Train No.16536 will depart  Solapur at 2.40 pm instead of 3.35 pm as at present and arrive at Yeshwantpur at 7.50 am instead of 9.15 am, the next day. 

Train No.06560 will depart Yeshwantpur at 7.55 am and arrive at Mysore at 11.15 am on the same day. In the return direction, Train No.06559 will depart Mysore at 3.30 pm and arrive at Yeshwantpur at 7.15 pm.

*  Train No 16591/16592 Hubli-Bangalore City Hampi Daily Express: Train No.16591 will run to Mysore as a Special Train Nos. 06557/06558 till extension of Train Nos.
16591/16592 is done.  The Train No.16591 Hubli-Bangalore Hampi Express will depart Hubli at 6 pm and arrive at Bangalore City at 6.10 am  the next day.  The Special Train No.06557 from Bangalore City to Mysore will depart Bangalore City at 6.30 am and arrive at Mysore at 9.40 am.

In the return direction, Special Train No. 06558 Mysore-Bangalore Special will depart from Mysore at 6.15 pm and arrive at Bangalore City at 9.50 pm. Train No. 16592 will depart B’ lore City 10 pm and arrive at Hubli at 11am, the next day.

*  Train Nos.17307/17308 Yeshwantpur-Bagalkot Basava Express to Mysore:  Train Nos. 17307/17308 will run to Mysore as Special Train Nos. 07307/07308 between Mysore-Bangalore-Mysore Specials till extension of Train No.17307/17308 is done.

Accordingly, Train No.07308 will depart at Yeshwantpur at 10.15 am and arrive at Mysore at 1.50 pm on the same day. In the return direction, Train No.07307 will depart Mysore at 1.30 pm and arrive at Yeshwantpur at 5.10 pm on the same day

Services revision

*  The services of Train No. 12692 Sri Satya Sai Prashanti Nilayam-Chennai Express  from Sri Satya Sai Prashanti Nilayam will be revised to run on Saturdays instead of Sundays.
Cancellation

*  On increase in frequency of Train No.16315/16316 Bangalore City-Kochuveli-Bangalore City Express from tri-weekly to daily from Kochuv- eli end from September 4, 2013 and from Bangalore City end from September 5, 2013, the existing Train nos. 16321/ 16322 Trivandrum-Bangalore City-Trivandrum Weekly train will be cancelled, with effect from Trivandrum end from September 4, 2013 and from Bangalore City end from September 5, 2013.
