15 senior IAS officers transferred

The State government on Thursday  transferred 15 senior IAS officers including P N Sreenivasachary as Principal Secretary, Urban Development Department, S K Pattanayak as  Additional Chief Secretary, Home Department and Amita Prasad as Principal Secretary, Energy Department.

Tulasi Maddineni, Deputy Commissioner of Koppal district, was recently transferred without any posting for ordering demolition of an illegally constructed bungalow allegedly owned by a close relative of Minor Irrigation Minister Shivaraj Tangadagi.

Maddineni has been now posted as Chief Executive Officer of Dakshina Kannada zilla panchayat.

Names of officers and their new postings are as follows: Kaushik Mukharjee, Additional Chief Secretary to the government (cader post); V Umesh, ACS-cum-Development Commissioner; H Basker, Principal Secretary, Department of Public Enterprise; Parmesh Pandey, Principal Secretary, DPAR (Janaspandana); Rajeev Chawla, MD, KUWSDB, Bangalore; Shalini Rajneesh, Director General, Administrative Training Institute, Mysore; N Nagambika Devi, Secretary, Water Resources department (Minor Irrigation); P S Vastrad, Commissioner, Archaeology, Museums and Heritage, Mysore; Chakaravarthi Mohan, CEO, KIADB, will hold additional charge as Director, Department of Pre-University Education and Executive Director, KEA, Bangalore; Pankaj Kumar Pandey, MD, Bescom; S Shankaranarayana, Special Commissioner, BBMP.
