The garments at Urbana reflect the perfect blend of craftsmanship and innovation. The formal line has a distinct design and style about itself. From fits and fabrics to cuffs and collars, ‘Urbana’ is unique.

The design team at ‘Urbana’ ensures that it keeps pace with the changing fashion sense of the modern man. The brand stocks a range of shirts, trousers, suits and ceremonial wear that ensure that customers are spoilt for choice. “Urbana thrives on innovative fabric finishes like ‘Nanontex’ (spill and wrinkle resistant), ‘3X Dry’ (repels water from the outside, absorbs moisture from the inside), ‘Durawhite’ (keeps the whiteness index intact, wash after wash), ‘Active Black’ (black stays black even after repeated washes) and ‘Anti-microbial finish’ (prevents bacterial growth in sweat prone areas),” explains Panchali Upadhaya, COO of the brand, adding that this
is what gives the brand that extra edge.

Talking about the collections this season, Panchali says that ‘Urbana Celestial Shirts’ — a range of ceremonial wear — is perfectly crafted from luxurious Egyptian cotton in structured fabrics in classic and jewel tones. The ‘Sartorial Collection’  is meticulously tailored and distinctively styled. The lineup includes the ‘Traveler Collection’, ‘Essentials’, ‘Belgium Linens’ and in the trouser category, there are anti-microbial trousers and super-crease trousers. Every shirt in the ‘Hall of Whites’ comes with a ‘Durawhite’ finish that keeps a white shirt dazzling, wash after wash. “The garments are stitched with Gutermann thread, which has got Mother of Pearl,” adds Panchali.

For men who love to dress up, ‘Urbana’ offers an enviable range in formal shirts and suits. The colours too are distinct and stand out in terms of appeal. Panchali notes that
‘Urbana’ is always ready with something for the man who is discerning in his choice of apparel. “The brand offers a complete ensemble of suits, shirts, trousers and accessories that’s a true reflection of sartorial style and finesse,” she observes.
When it comes to accessories, the design team at Urbana feels that it’s always best to accessorise in keeping with the garment. The idea is never to overdo the styling at any point in time.

Karthik Shivayanmath, Final Year, City College of Engineering, chose a green shirt from the ‘Essential Collection’ and matched it with black trousers.

Punchline: “The colour is unique and it is just right for office wear. If accessorised well, it could be worn to a party too. It’s not very expensive and it’s worth paying for such an exclusive design.”

Price: Shirt (Rs 1,599) and trousers (Rs 1,799).

Srinivas Hosur, III Year, University Viveswaraya College of Engineering, wore a purple shirt from the ‘Masterpiece Collection’ and matched it with a black suit.

Punchline: “The purple shirt contrasts with the black suit which is a pretty striking
combination. I like my look and could easily wear it to a formal gathering.”
Price: Suit (Rs 8,299) and shirt (Rs 2,799).

Jeffery Ponnappa, Final Year, Acharya Institute of Technology, slipped into a purple shirt from the ‘Essential Collection’ and paired it with black trousers.

Punchline: “I like the blend of purple and blue in the shirt and it goes really well with black. It is perfect for a party and can be worn to just about any formal event.”
Price: Shirt (Rs 1,599) and trousers (Rs 2,299).

Mohammed Adeeb, pursuing CCIE course with Networkers Home, chose a black bandhgala.

Punchline: “I like the bandhgala for its fit. The buttons go well with the cut of the blazer and this outfit is perfect for business and presentation meetings.”
Price: Bandhgala (Rs 8,499).
