A CD purportedly containing telephonic conversation between a senior Samajwadi Party  leader with a minister of state status and a former party functionary, in which one of them is heard seeking “chicks” (young girls) for sex, has exposed chinks in the party leadership.

Ram Babu Yadav, the SP leader who is embroiled in the CD controversy, has alleged that some senior party leaders had hatched a conspiracy to end his political career by tarnishing his image.

He alleged that Kamalesh Pathak, a minister of state, is the prime conspirator.
“Pathak is behind the entire conspiracy,” Yadav alleged, adding that Pramod Gupta, an SP member of the legislative council,  was also involved.

He claimed that the CD was morphed and contained the voice of a Congress leader, who is a mimicry expert.

Yadav also said he will complain to the senior party leadership about the conspiracy to seek action against the guilty.

Yadav, who was also in-charge of the Etawah parliamentary seat, was given a clean chit in the matter by SP supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav.

However, police expressed an intent to get the CD examined at a forensic science laboratory to establish its authenticity.

Madhu Pandey, former functionary of the SP women’s wing, had handed over the CD
purportedly containing the telephonic conversation between her and Yadav to Auraiya district authorities.

Pandey had alleged that Yadav had demanded girls from her to sleep with.

The septuagenarian leader is heard seeking “chooja” (chicks) from Madhu Pandey.
On being asked to explain the word, he is heard saying that this refers to a girl between the age group of 18 and 20.

The matter has come as a big shocker to the SP leadership.
