Karnataka Janata Party supremo and ex-chief minister B S Yeddyurappa on Monday arrived here sparking rumours that he would meet the BJP top brass.

As per the official programme of Yeddyurappa, who came along with his trusted lieutenant Lehar Singh, is scheduled to visit Vaishnodevi hill shrine near Jammu on Tuesday.

Dismissing any meeting with BJP leaders, sources close to Yeddyurappa told Deccan Herald that it was purely a religious tour and no political meeting is scheduled. Even BJP leaders refused to confirm any possible meeting between the Lingayat leader and party leaders.
