DSS demands 'bagar hukum panel'

District Convener Yagudige Basavaraj said that enquiry must be held into the minor encroachment done by the Dalits on forest, gomala, revenue lands and title deeds must be distributed to them at the earliest. “Regularise the forest encroached by Dalits,” they said  and added that the survey works of the said land must be conducted and sent to central government for approval .

Dalits working under Swacha Trust must be provided sites under Ambedkar and Valmiki Project, officials must not harass the Dalit workers and the paurakarmikas must be given ownership over the houses they have been dwelling in, were some of the other demands.
