JOIN USManjari Fadnis, who is best remembered for her role in Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na — where she played a petite girl-next-door — is all set for her next release in Indra Kumar’s Grand Masti,where she will be seen opposite Aftab Shivdasani.
Unlike her previous films, Manjari will be seen in a new avatar here; she will be quite desi, wearing kastha saris, sindoor and a mangalsutra. Given that most of her earlier roles have seen her sporting western outfits, this could be a pleasant change for movie-goers. “Manjari will be seen essaying the role of a pativrata housewife in this film. Her role has been characterised as an ideal housewife. Manjari was perfect for this role. She plays the dedicated housewife, who has the responsibility of everyone in the house,” says a person on the team.
