SMS to know status of cases in KAT

Now it is easy to know the status of cases filed in Karnataka Appellate Tribunal. Just an SMS to 9449053889 is enough to know the status. The text of the SMS should begin with ‘S’ followed by a space and the case number (e.g., S 1123213). Within a few seconds the status of the case will be conveyed. The tribunal does not charge extra for the SMS service. KAT chairman A Ramaswamy said the KAT was the first judicial organisation in the country to introduce this service.
