Three minors raped in city

41-year-old goes out in search of child, youth sexually assaults her

Three minors and a 40-year-old woman were allegedly raped in the Capital in the past three days, police said on Monday.

A four-year-old girl was allegedly raped by a 19-year-old neighbour in west Delhi’s Kirti Nagar late on Sunday. She was found unconscious near railway tracks on Monday morning.

The victim lives with family in a JJ cluster in the area. Her parents told police that she was missing since she went to watch TV at a shop near thier house on Saturday evening. When she did not return home till late evening, her parents went to the shop and were informed that a youth took her with him. Worried, her parents launched a search in the area, but failed to trace her.

They approached police after all their efforts failed. Police found her unconscious near railway tracks around 5 am on Monday. She was rushed to Deen Dayal Upadhyay Hospital, where a medical examination confirmed sexual assault. Police later identified the youth and apprehended him. The accused claimed to be a juvenile.

Currently, the girl is undergoing treatment.

Nine-year-old assaulted

A nine-year-old girl was allegedly raped by her 16-year-old neighbour in south Delhi’s RK Puram late on Sunday. The juvenile has been apprehended.

Police said the incident took place in a slum cluster. It is alleged that the accused juvenile lured the victim on some pretext and allegedly raped her. “He threatened her with dire consequences and fled the spot,” a police officer said.

The victim narrated the ordeal to her family after returning home. Her family members approached police after which the victim was taken for medical examination at Safdarjung Hospital.

Doctors confirmed that the girl was sexually assaulted, and she was given a treatment. Hospital sources said a minor surgery was performed on the victim as doctors suspected involvement of foreign object causing heavy bleeding.

“The victim’s condition is out of danger, but she in a shock,” sources added.
The juvenile accused was subsequently apprehended. He was produced before Juvenile Justice Board on Monday, which sent him to a correction home.

In another incident, another nine-year-old girl was allegedly raped by an autorickshaw driver after being kidnapped from north-east Delhi’s Seemapuri on Saturday. The victim was later dumped at Mohan Nagar in Ghaziabad.

The girl returned home with the help of another autorickshaw driver. During investigation, police arrested 42-year-old Om Prakash, a resident of Bhopura in Ghaziabad.

The victim lives with her family at Shalimar Garden Extension in Sahibabad and is a class 3 student in Seemapuri. Her family had hired an autorickshaw for her journey.
Police said she was standing outside her school on Saturday afternoon when she was kidnapped by Om Prakash. He allegedly raped her near Hindon River.

Ordeal

A 41-year-old woman was allegedly raped in west Delhi’s Kirti Nagar late on Sunday. The victim was searching for her 14-year-old son when she was waylaid by two men.

She was allegedly dragged to an isolated area where she was raped by one of the accused. The woman told police that she was looking for her son as he had not returned home till late evening. Police have arrested Gaura, 24, and Inamul, 25.

Separate cases under Indian Penal Code and Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act have been registered.
