4 kids fall sick after drinking milk

Four children of the Government Higher Primary School at Togaranahalli in the taluk fell sick after they drank the milk provided under the State government’s ambitious Ksheera Bhagya scheme on Wednesday morning.

The schoolchildren were served milk as usual, however, some children started vomiting and were taken ill. The headmaster of the school rushed four unwell children to the government hospital at Alur with the help of their parents. Doctors who treated the children said: “The milk will be first sent to a lab for test and only after the arrival of report, can the reason be known.”
