<p>ONGC and BPCL won the men’s and women’s team championships in the 35th PSPB Inter-unit badminton tournament here on Tuesday. <br /><br /></p>.<p>ONGC beat IOCL 3-0 in men’s event while BPCL got the better of IOCL 2-1 in the women’s. <br />National champion Saurabh Verma (ONGC) shocked Parupalli Kashyap (IOCL) 21-13, 22-20 while H S Prannoy (ONGC) edged past Srikanth (IOCL) 21-16, 11-21, 21-19 in the second singles. In doubles, Rupesh Kumar and V Diju beat Arun Vishnu and Srikanth 21-16, 22-20.<br />In the women’s team championship finals, P V Sindhu (BPCL) rallied to beat Tanvi Lad 19-21, 21-6, 21-9. <br /><br />In doubles, Aparna Balan and Prajakta Sawant (IOCL) defeated Jwala Gutta and Sindhu 21-14, 26-24. In the deciding second singles match Aditi Mutatkar swept aside Trupti Murgunde (IOCL) 21-16, 21-11.<br /></p>
