<p>The State government on Tuesday appointed Manoj Kumar Meena, an IAS officer of the 2003 batch, as the secretary of the Karnataka Public Service Commission (KPSC), Bangalore. Another IAS officer R Venkatesh Kumar has been posted as the Controller of Examination of the KPSC, which has been facing charges of corruption and irregularities in recruitment of gazetted probationers.<br /><br /></p>.<p>The two are among the six IAS officers and 10 IPS officers who were transferred by the government on Tuesday. The new postings of the other IAS officers are: Ritvik Ranjanam Pandey, deputy commissioner, Bijapur; Shivayogi C Kalasad, commissioner, Land Acquisition (R&R), Upper Krishna Project, Bagalkot; M V Savithri, managing director, Karnataka Food & Civil Supplies Corporation Limited, Bangalore and K R Sundar, managing director, Gulbarga Electricity Supply Company Limited, Gulbarga. <br /><br />The IPS officers who have been transferred are: Bhaskar Rao, Inspector General of Police, Northern Range, Belgaum; KSR Charan Reddy, Inspector General of Police, Training, Bangalore; B A Mahesh, Superintendent of Police, Lokayukta; Iswarachandra Vidyasagar, Assistant Inspector General of Police, Crimes, Bangalore; Abhishek Goyal, Superintendent of Police, Lokayukta; Shanthanu Sinha, Superintendent of Police, Dakshina Kannada; Iada Martin Marbaniang, Superintendent of Police, Bagalkot; K T Balakrishna, Deputy Commandant General, Home Guards & Ex-officio Deputy Director of Civil Defence, Bangalore; H R Bagawan Das: Superintendent of Police and Principal, Police Training College, Gulbarga, and S Rangaswamy Naik, Superintendent of Police, Intelligence, Bangalore.</p>
