IIMB ranked best B-School in India

The institution has been recognised as the  No 1 business school in India, according to the 2009 worldwide business school ranking carried out by Eduniversal. In the Eduniversal Palmes 2009, IIMB has been awarded '5 Palmes', the highest recognition under the evaluation accorded to "Universal Business Schools with major international influence."

"We are delighted to once again receive this recognition as India's top management school," said Professor Pankaj Chandra, Director, IIMB. He added that this award was a reflection of the efforts to enhance the quality of learning and research. Chandra also expressed confidence that IIMB will continue to be the preferred management school for “students with global aspirations.”

The award was presented on October 26, 2009 at the Eduniversal World Convention held in Cape Town and translates into IIMB being one of the top 100 B-Schools in the world. Significantly IIMB was voted ahead of the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad (IIMA) by deans of nearly 1000 B-schools from all over the world.
