Reconstitute fact finding committee: DCC general secy

 District Congress General Secretary Jameel Ahmed has demanded reformation of the fact finding committee formed to look into the reasons for the defeat of the Congress in the region.
The Committee has been formed by District President and Ahmed said that the President has gone about unilaterally forming the Committee which is wrong. He opined that party workers of various booths must be included in the Committee to get better understanding of the reason for the defeat of the party.
He said that there is a need to hold a discussion to see how many votes Congress got in District Congress President’s constituency Sakarayapatna and how many votes BJP got in the same constituency. “The Committee has in it some people who have never faced an election. They have never tasted success or defeat nor have they got any idea of the problems of the people. What kind of finding will this committee make,” he questioned.
He said that despite having served as the member of Town Municipal Council for two terms and working as the President of the Council for 22 months, he said that his name was not included in the Committee.
He said that the Committee must be reformed by taking former district presidents, general secretaries, Zilla Panchayat, Taluk Panchayat  and Council members who have faced elections.
