CorpBank hosts 46th TOLIC meet

 The meeting was chaired by Chairman and Managing Director of the Bank J M Garg. Also Chairman of Mangalore TOLIC, Garg in his presidential address congratulated the member organisations who have been awarded for excellent performance in the field of Official Language Implementation and further elaborated that Mangalore TOLIC has carved a niche for itself among other TOLICs. He underlined the inherent simplicity of Hindi language attributing this factor to the popularity of Hindi Language as a whole.
Assistant General Manager of the Corporation Bank and Member Secretary of Mangalore TOLIC Col K G R Kumar reviewed the performance of the member organisations in the field of Official Language Implementation and gave crucial inputs and germane counsel to improve the performance under Official Language Implementation. Dr Vishwanath Jha, Deputy Director (Implementation), Regional Implementation Office, Govt of India, Ministry of Home Affairs, Bangalore reviewed the performance of Mangalore TOLIC. Dr Jha gave inputs to further improve the performance of Mangalore TOLIC.

Awards

Shields and certificates were given away to the member organisations in recognition of their outstanding performance in the field of Official Language implementation by Executive Director of Corporation Bank Asit Pal. The first prize for implementation were awarded to Regional Office of Syndicate Bank, Mangalore Branch SBI, BSNL and Employees Provident Fund Organisation while Corporation Bank Head Office and All India Radio received special prize for standing first consecutively for the fourth year. Corporation Bank GM B N Satish and dignitaries of various Government Organisations in Mangalore were present.
