Nokia unveils new N97 Mini phone

The company also said users can personalise the homescreen with applications and services avialable from Ovi store. Nokia has partnered with social networking website Facebook for Lifecasting with Ovi and new N97 mini comes with lifecasting feature.

The Nokia N97 mini also comes with four pre loaded games, three pre loaded hollywood movies and a free voucher of 100 tracks from Nokia music store.  Briefing reporters, Nokia India Director Sales Vipul Sabharwal said, the new N97 model delivers a truly personal internet experience and social internet. Lifecasting with Ovi is first application to let people publish their location and status updates directly to their facebook account from the homescreen.

“Ovi store is one stop shop for mobile content to help Nokia users to personalise their device. Currently there are more than 5,000 application availabile in the Ovistore that users can use. Users are looking for more localised content we are trying to provide more local content through our Ovi stores,” he said.
