Karnataka boys post second win; Manipur victorious

The State boys outfit scored a 25-16, 25-15, 25-11 win over Chhattisgarh in Group D on the third day of the championship.

Karnataka boys had earlier on Monday defeated Orissa. The defending champions Tamil Nadu brushed asid e Haryana’s challenge to win 25-21, 25-16, 25-14. In another Group D match, Manipur, who have had a mixed tournament so far, scored a 25-21, 25-17, 25-14 win over Kerala.

In the girls’ category Group D match, Haryana put to fore a clinical performance to down Gujarat 25-8, 25-11, 25-13.

Karnataka, who are in Group D, had defeated Delhi  on Tuesday. In another match, Punjab posted a convincing 25-18, 25-14, 25-13 win over Bihar in Group C.
