Speaking on the occasion he said that it was the responsibility of both the contractors and people to ensure the quality of the roads being constructed.<br />The road work has been taken up under Area Development Fund and Rs 4 lakh has been sanctioned for the purpose.<br /><br />“The elected representative on their part should also ensure the quality of the works,” said Kailash who urged contractors to be honest with their work.<br /><br />The road connecting the village’s main road to Ganesh temple has been accorded priority since devotees travel on this road to visit the temple, expressed Kailash who told contractors that he wanted see a good road by his next visit.<br /><br />Additional funds<br /><br />“A memorandum had been submitted by the BJP district unit for the construction of road. The funds for the first phase of developmental works has been released by Deputy Commissioner. Additional funds for the works will be sanctioned after January 2010,” Kailash added.<br /><br />BJP district unit President Sriram, Jagadheeshwarachari Gupta, M Rangappa, Ratnamma, Sukanya, Jayaram Reddy, contractor Naagnaal Venkatesh and others were present.<br /><br /></p>
