Protest over doctors negligence

Lack of adequate stock of medicine in the hospital alleged

The protesters said that recently Munikrishnappa from the taluk died of snake bite at the Bangalore hospital. They alleged that the death was due to the negligence by the health officer. They said that Munikrishnappa died as there was no stock of the medicine  at the hospital for the snake bite.

DSS district unit convener K C Rajakant accused that the administration in the hospital has deteriorated. Patients will be treated only if they pay at the hospital and added that health officer have failed in providing good  treatment for the public.

Samata Mahila Vedike Sushma, Daulabi and Shobha expressed  their ire over the irregularities at the hospital.

The protesters demanded for the mass transfer of the hospital staff and for the new appointment. They refused to withdraw their protest until the deputy commissioner Anwar Pasha visits them.

Yielding to the demands of the protesters deputy commissioner Anwar Pasha, legislator K P Bache Gowda, zilla panchayat executive officer Krishnappa Kodipalya visited the spot.
They said that, as the election code of conduct was in force they could not concentrated over the hospital problems and assured of appropriate action against the erring staff.
City Municipal Council president M Prakesh spoke on the occasion. Yuva Congress leader Addagal Shreedhar, Mandikal Block Somashekar, Raitha Sangha Munirame Gowda, DSS Karagappa and others led the protest.
