National champion Vidya Pillai and teenager Varsha Sanjeev maintained their unbeaten record in the preliminary league of the ongoing IBSF World Snooker Championship here.
Vidya defeated Diana Schuler from Germany 3-0 for her third win in Group B while 17-year-old Varsha overcame France’s Linda Lassant 3-1 to record her second success in Group F that also includes double World Champion Ng On Yee from Hong Kong, who underlined her form with a run of 104.
Two other women Indian cueists, Neena Praveen and Chitra Magimairajan, however, lost their respective group matches.
