'Education, a tool for upward mobility'

 Students should focus on their studies and expand the horizons of knowledge, experience and make use of the facilities given to them by various NGOs and philanthropists, said T V Satyanarayan Shetty President of Universal Success Theosophical Society.

He was speaking after distributing note books to students at a programme held in memory of Dr Annie Besant.

Reading  habit

Students should inculcate the habit of reading and should contribute towards the progress of the nation and be a force to be reckoned with.
In this era of globalisation and cuthroat competition, education is the only tool with which one can carve an identity for themselves, said Satyanarayan Shetty.

Free books were distributed to poor children from schools across the City.
Timmaraju Shetty, Y A Ratnamma, Krishnaiah Shetty, Geeta Dhananjay, Saijyoti, Venkataramappa, Lakshminarayana, Sudarshan, Chandra Srinivas and others were present on the occasion.
