Karate contest held

Inaugurating the national-level Karate competition, organised by Bruce Lee Karate School in Kolar on Saturday, he said, it is saddening to see that some of the countries are using the youth force for destructive purpose. Sports can be used to  unify the this force and later in building a nation.

CMC President K N Madhusudan Kumar who spoke on the occasion said that sports was dying a slow death in cities. He welcomed the organising of a national-level competition in such circumstances.

Advocate Harohalli Nar-ayanaswamy in his keynote address expressed his gratitude to Srinivas who for a very long time had been running the Karate School in the City.  Srinivas has till now thought hundreds of students, expressed Narayanaswamy who urged the district administration to recognise his contributions. The participants later displayed their skills.
