The Ashok Nagar police arrested an artist on Saturday, on charges of harassing a freelance writer and posting objectionable content on Facebook.
The arrested is T F Hadimani, a resident of Kanakapura Road. The police produced him before the court. He was remanded in judicial custody.
The victim, in a complaint, said that he contacted her on the phone and appreciated her write-up in a Kannada weekly magazine. A week later, he started sending her ‘highly objectionable’ messages, but she ignored them.
She told him that she was married with two children and directed him to stay away. However, he continued his behaviour, police said.
She filed a police complaint on November 25. He had been arrested a few months ago on a similar charge.
