The winners, Atihith K and Subham Nandy overcame stiff competition from finalists from Delhi, Pune, Chennai and Kolkata to lift the trophy.
The two students of the winning team in the national finals won Sony Vaio notebooks and trophies as prizes from Dr Biswadip (Bobby) Mitra, President & Managing Director, Texas Instruments India.
Padma Seshadri BalaBhavan Senior Secondary School, Chennai and Delhi Public School, Ghaziabad finished second and third respectively in the National finals.
Regional rounds
In the Bangalore regional rounds, Sri Kumaran Public School won the first place followed by Innisfree House School and Sri Kumaran's Children Home which won second and third prizes respectively.
A total of 522 students forming 291 teams from 55 schools had participated in the regional quiz rounds. The quiz offers an interactive platform to children to test their wits and gives wings to their desire to imagine and innovate at an early stage in life.
