'JD(S) using Wadiyar's death for political gain'

Congress MP A H Vishwanath said he had no objection if Congress high command decided to field Pramoda Devi, wife of late scion of Mysore royal family, Srikantadatta Narasimharaja Wadiyar, as candidate in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.

Responding to queries at a press meet, held here on Sunday, he said in case of her nomination, he would work as a party worker to ensure Congress victory. 

He was speaking in view of the statements made by JD(S) MLA G T Devegowda that JD(S) would field Pramoda Devi Wadiyar from Mysore Lok Sabha constituency. By making such statement, JD(S) was using the death of Wadiyar to reap political gains, he said.
