Hearing it from the experts

The students of PES College of Pharmacy conducted a workshop on advanced techniques in experimental pharmacology on the campus recently. Professionals from the field were invited to address the students and share their experiences with them.

Students from various pharmacy colleges attended the workshop. Abhishek, a student, says that the workshop gave them an opportunity to know more about their subjects from professionals who are currently working in the field. “We had experts from different companies who gave a talk about the challenges in the field,” he informs.

“Besides lectures, the experts also gave us demo presentations on various topics,” says Yashwanth, another student.

Students also got an opportunity to interact with the experts and ask  them questions and clarify their doubts. While some wanted to know the scope of the subject that they are studying, others wanted to know more about the demo presentations and talks. 

“Organising the workshop was a challenge but we are satisfied with the outcome. Our teachers helped us in contacting the experts and inviting them to the workshop,” adds Yashwanth.
