Sudanese student among three killed in accidents

Three people, including a student from Sudan, who was pursuing his studies in City, were killed in separate accidents since Thursday evening. 

Mozin, 23, a Sudan national, returning home after partying on MG Road was killed in an accident in Challakere, Banasawadi, in the wee hours of Friday. Mozin was a resident of Kottanur, pursuing his BCA at a private institution. On Thursday night, Mozin had come down to MG Road with group of friends for a party and returning home on his bike when the accident occurred. 

Police said Mozin, who was overspeeding, lost his balance and rammed his bike into an electricity pole and sustained severe head injury, killing him on the spot. Banasawadi Traffic Police have registered a case.

In the other accident, Salman Khan, 19, a pushcart vendor, who was taking his cart on Nayandahalli flyover was run over by a speeding earthmover killing him on the spot. The impact was such that he was thrown down from the flyover along with his push cart. A resident of Gangondanahalli, Khan used to sell steel utensils.  The driver of the earthmover has been arrested. 
Engineer mowed down

In yet another mishap, Chetan, 30, an engineer, who was riding his bike near Poornima Junction, Lalbagh Road, was run over by a speeding Tamil Nadu State Road Transport bus killing him on the spot. 

A resident of Byatrayanapura, Chetan was working as engineer with a private company in Sanjay Nagar and was returning home after finishing day's work. Wilson Garden Police have registered a case. The driver of bus has been arrested.
