Bluetooth assistance at Rangayana

If you are anywhere in the vicinity (100 mts) of Kalamandira, and you have the bluetooth of your phone turned on, then you will definitely receive details about the next play to be staged at Rangayana, as part of the Bahuroopi theatre festival. Rangayana on Friday launched a service to provide bluetooth enabled information about the plays, on a trial basis. Much before the show started at Bhoomigeetha, around 250 cellphones with bluetooth turned on, in the vicinity, received a message on the scheduled play ‘Nammolagobba...’ , its gist, characters and artists, and awards won for the same. 

Chairman of Kannada Development Authority (KDA) ‘Mukhyamantri’ Chandru launched the service in the presence of Rangayana director H Janardhan, theatre enthusiasts S R Ramesh, Madhav Khare, Krishnegowda and others.

Earlier, a similar trial had been conducted during ‘Naada Habba’ Dasara, where information was provided about the cultural events held within the Palace precincts.
