Lissy also gave information on Janani Suraksha and Arogya Kavacha schemes.<br />Woman and Child Welfare officer Krishnappa said one ‘Akshayapatre’ scheme is being implemented at anganwadi centres. According to this, a basket will be kept at anganwadis, where the villagers and the children can put vegetable from their home.<br />The villagers complained that the food being served to children at anganwadis is not of good quality. They said the anganwadi workers should be given proper training in preparing food.<br /><br />The villagers also questioned the officials from the Education department on not conducting children’s grama sabhe so far. <br />Nagalapura Gram Panchayat President Raghavendra presided. Vice President Jose, and others were present on the occasion.</p>
