Former chief minister B S Yeddyurappa on Thursday said he has not yet taken a decision on contesting for the upcoming Lok Sabha polls.

Speaking to media persons after launching ‘Mane Mane Kade BJP’ programme in Mandya, on Thursday, Yeddyurappa said that he would work for the victory of BJP candidates for the Lok Sabha polls and send as many BJP MPs to the Parliament.

“There is nothing bigger than the people’s trust and love. I have not returned to the party seeking any posts, and there is no need for it”, he clarified.

People are enthusiastic to see BJP leader Narendra Modi as the next prime minister of the country. The Modi wave has been witnessed across the country and there was no doubt that BJP would ascend to power with a majority, he said.

He clarified that there was no internal bickerings in the party. BJP which had won 19 seats in the last Lok Sabha polls, will win more seats this elections, he said. He would tour the State and strengthen the party from the grassroot level, Yeddyurappa added.

ZP unit president H Honnappa, Mysugar former president Nagarajappa, CADA former president Ramalingaiah and others were present.
