JOIN USTwo pedestrians were killed in two separate accidents in Electronic City and Banashankari on Sunday night.
Muniyappa (55), a native of Doddaballapur was run over by a Tamil Nadu state transport bus while he was crossing Hosur Road near Govindashettypalaya at 8.30 pm. He died while undergoing treatment at a hospital.
The Electronic City traffic police arrested the driver identified as Muniyandi and registered a case.
In another incident, around 10.30 pm, an unidentified pedestrian in his late 20's was killed by a speeding car at the entrance of the KEB circle flyover on the Outer Ring Road in Banashankari, a senior police officer said.
Though a CCTV camera recorded the accident, the police said that the footage was not clear enough to show the registration number of the car.
A case was registered at Banashankari traffic police station.
