Keep your skin in good shape

Maintaining a healthy and glowing skin may not seem that easy, but all you need is an effective routine.

Starting the day

Cleanse your skin, using a toner and follow it up with a moisturiser. Besides this CTM routine, follow a ritual of applying a sunblock during the day, every 3-4 hours. Apply a night cream containing retinols, de-tanning agents like arbutin, kojic acid and vitamin C, before retiring for the day.

Consult an expert

Consulting a dermatologist before going for any kind of skin treatment, including parlour facials, is a must. 

Include manicure and pedicure as a regular beauty regimen. It helps in maintaining clean and presentable fingers and toes.

Rid toxins

Maintain a diet rich in fruits and vegetables. A 45-minute brisk walk will do good. Drink a minimum of 2.5 to 3 litres of water everyday. Consume Isabgol every night. It helps in achieving good bowel movements, which in turn flush out the excess toxins and it, eventually, reflects on the skin.

Don’ts

*  Do not wax the hair on your face, chest and back if you are prone to hormonal imbalance. Whole-body bleach may be a better idea. * Do not rush in for a ‘clean-up’ treatment if the pimples are large and pustular unless you have been advised by a doctor and are under medication. * Do not visit a new place for any treatment. You don’t want unpleasant surprises.
