Minister for Housing H M Ambarish is said to be recovering at the Vikram Hospital in the City. Doctors who have been treating the actor-turned-politician confirmed that the process of weaning him off the ventilator was on.
The process is likely to take 12 to 18 hours. Ambarish, whose vital parameters are normal, would be taken off the ventilator by afternoon on Thursday and would be moved to the ward a day later. However, he would continue to remain under constant examination.Minister for Health and Family Welfare U T Khader, who visited the actor on Wednesday, said his condition had improved.
