Reviewing decisions made by Kiran Kumar Reddy towards the end of his tenure as chief minister of the state, Governor E S L Narasimhan on Monday reversed the transfers of three IAS officers. The transfers of three IAS officers – G Anantha Ramu, K Vijayanand and S S Rawat – were reversed.

The government on Monday issued an order transferring Rawat from APGenco to the Social Welfare Department as secretary. As a result, Anantha Ramu, who Reddy had transferred to the Social Welfare Department as secretary, will now take on his earlier post as commissioner of transport.

Vijayanand, who was posted as the commissioner of transport, is to continue as managing director of APGenco. The governor said the transfer of Vijayanand and Anantha Ramu will be subject to the outcome of a petition that is pending before the Central Administrative Tribunal.
