<p>Automobile manufacturer Hyundai Wednesday launched its entry-level compact sedan Xcent priced between Rs.4.66 lakh and Rs.7.38 lakh (ex-showroom New Delhi).<br /><br /></p>.<p>"The Xcent is developed for the Indian families. Developed with the best of Hyundai Motor's world class technologies, Xcent will create a new benchmark in terms of quality, design, space, features and driving pleasure in the compact sedan segment," said B.S. Seo, managing director and chief executive, Hyundai Motor India.<br /><br />"We have invested extensive effort in competitively pricing Xcent to offer excellent value and to become the most loved and trusted brand in India."<br /><br />The company launched the entry-level compact sedan in two engine options of 1.1 litre advanced second generation U2 CRDi diesel and 1.2 litre Kappa Dual VTVT petrol engine.<br /><br />The second generation U2 CRDi diesel delivers a fuel mileage of 24.4 km per litre while the all-aluminium 1.2 litre Kappa petrol engine gives a mileage of 19.1 km per litre. <br /><br />The petrol engine offers the choice of five-speed manual transmission and a four-speed automatic transmission.</p>
