DMK warns cadres against Alagiri links

Following M K Alagiri’s meeting with his loyalists and DMK workers on Tuesday, the party has warned its cadres against having links with the suspended south zone organising secretary, who had fallen out with his father and party president M Karunanidhi. 

Accusing Alagiri of misleading party workers, DMK general secretary K Anbazhagan said: “The party will not tolerate anyone indulging in anti-party activities.” 

He added: “We have been receiving reports that the south zone organising secretary Alagiri has been conducting meetings with party cadres to deliberately create confusion within the party. Strict action will be taken against those getting in touch with him.”
