Kumar Bangarappa hurt, but not to quit Cong

Congressman Kumar Bangarappa is hurt and angry that he has not been fielded from Shimoga for the LS elections. But he has no plans to quit the party.

In interviews to television channels on Thursday, Kumar said Manjunath Bhandary, the official nominee of the Congress, is an outsider to Shimoga. And, he should not have been fielded as this is bound to further erode the party’s base in the district.

He also said he would think about campaigning for Bhandary after a couple of days.
