<p>The BJP seems to have put the problems regarding the candidates for the Mysore-Kodagu and Hassan seats behind.<br /><br /></p>.<p>It was a show of bonhomie between Prathap Simha, the candidate for Mysore-Kodagu seat, and Vijayashankar, the former Mysore MP, on Thursday. Vijayashankar has agreed to be the party’s candidate from Hassan to take on former prime minister H D Deve Gowda of the JD(S).<br /><br />He said “it is my prime duty to bow to the diktat of the party that gave me everything.” He hugged Simha before leaving for Hassan for a party meet.<br /><br />Prathap Simha submitted his papers in four sets to Deputy Commissioner C Shikha, also the district electoral officer.<br /></p>
