<p>The Byatarayanapura police have arrested two men — Nadeem, 22, and Syed Naseer, 22 — for assaulting a woman and snatching her gold chain in Hosaguddadahalli.<br /><br /></p>.<p>They were later found to be involved in several chain-snatchings. <br /><br />The suspects, police said, waylaid Lakshmamma when she was on her way to a temple in Hosaguddadahalli, along with her son and daughter. They assaulter her and made off with a gold chain worth Rs 70,000.<br /><br />Labhu Ram, DCP (West), said: “After several chain-snatchings were reported in the last couple of months, a team was formed and information was gathered about the habitual offenders. When the suspects were interrogated, it emerged that they were involved in several chain-snatching and other crimes.”<br /></p>
