However, the adman-turned-filmmaker has no plans for a sequel.
Is a 'Maa' in the offing? No way, brushes off the writer-director as he braces for box office results. The film, which highlights progeria, a rare genetic condition where patients age rapidly, released today.

"No, you don't feel these things after delivery of the child," Balki told PTI before a special screening of the film here, when asked if he felt like being in a sort of 'paternity ward', awaiting arrival of his new-born.

Asked what would be his next movie based on, Balki said, "I have so far not thought about the theme or the script or the actors I am going to cast."
"I am excited...Let me first recover from this amazing experience," Balki, whose debut film 'Cheeni Kum', also starred the Big B, said.
Amitabh plays Auro, a 13-year-old child who is suffering from progeria. The film shows his relationship with father (essayed by real-life son Abhishek) and mother (Vidya Balan).

Asked when would he launch his next film, Balki said "I have not thought about the time-table...may be in the next few months."
A similarity between 'Cheeni Kum' and his latest venture is that both the films were shot in the UK. The first was shot in London while Paa was shot in Cambridge.
"I've this fascination for UK because of cricket, tennis and its picturesque landscape," Balki said.

The 'Auro dance' done by the Amitabh has already become a hit with the younger generation and promises to draw in crowds into theatres.
'Paa', an AB Corp Ltd presentation in association with Reliance BIG Pictures, is being released in 700 screens worldwide, including print and digital formats. The countries include UK, US, Canada, UAE, Australia, South Africa and New Zealand.

A star-studded premiere of the film was held here last evening which saw Bollywoog big wigs like Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Akshay Kumar, Hrithik Roshan, Ajay Devgn, Anil Kapoor and Ranbir Kapoor, Hemamalini, Jeetendra, Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol and many others attending the event.
