<p>Four hundred primary school students of Inventure Academy, a Pre-K – Grade 12 co-educational school, located on Whitefield-Sarjapur Road, in association with the Shankar Mahadevan Academy (SMA), put on a spectacular programme for their parents, friends and other guests.<br /></p>.<p> <br />The programme, called ‘Celebration of Learning’ is an annual Inventure Academy event that showcases children’s learning through theme-based innovative, experiential activities and exhibits.<br /><br />This year’s programme was on the theme of ‘How Much Do We Really Need? Reduce, Reuse, Recycle and Replace’. '<br /><br />The venue was MLR Convention Center in Whitefield. All the songs, dances, art work, written messages as well as the sets and props on stage were designed with a theme in mind. <br /><br />The compositions and lyrics for all the songs in English, Bengali, Kannada, Hindi and other regional languages were composed representing a variety of genres and written by specialists from the Shankar Mahadevan Academy, based on the theme-based lesson plans that the Inventure Academy teachers had developed. <br /><br />The dances and artwork were conceptualised, choreographed and supervised by the teachers of Inventure Academy. <br /><br />Shankar Mahadevan, who capped off the show by singing a stirring rendition of his hit Taare Zameen Par with 400 students of Inventure Academy, enthralled the audience. <br /><br />His second song was a lively rendition of ‘Senorita’ from the film Zindagi Na Milege Dobara, which he dedicated to all the female teachers of Inventure Academy in appreciation of their efforts.</p>
