UK princess flouts traffic norms

Traffic was forced to drive around the Duchess’ black car when it was parked on double yellow lines, ‘The Telegraph’ reported.

A shopper said: “Her car did cause a bit of disruption when it was on the double yellow lines as there was a queue of traffic trying to get around it”.

“Camilla put shopping into the illegally parked car. I don’t know why she couldn’t have used the car parks like everyone else,” the shopper said.

She added: “Luckily for Camilla, there wasn’t a traffic warden in sight. But would a warden have been brave enough to put a ticket on her car?” Camilla wandered around shops with two women friends while hunting for gifts and bought several volumes, possibly as gifts for book-loving Prince Charles.
