“BSNL has introduced per-second pulse in post-paid Plan 225. ISD calls are now available on per-second pulse, making it more affordable and attractive,”  Kuldeep Goyal, Chief Managing Director, Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited, said in a statement here on Friday.

Registration fee

The company has also waived off the registration fee besides halving the security deposit from Rs 1,000 to Rs 500.

The security deposit is refundable from the sixth month. For corporate subscribers, the Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited has modified Plan 525, offering 15-second pulse.

It also offers freebies for voice, sms, data and roaming minutes in addition to free calls worth Rs 350.

Roaming charges slashed

Additionally, voice calls will now be charged 30 paise per minute for local calls and 50 paise per minute for STD calls.

The subscribers will also get 300 minutes incoming and outgoing calls while on roaming.
Roaming charges under the post-paid plan have also been slashed.

If a 2G post-paid subscriber opts to add 3G service as well, it can be done with a monthly rental of Rs 25.
