9-yr old sister slits the throat of her brother

 A nine-year-old tribal girl slit the throat of her five-year-old brother at Seldouri village in Jagannathpur block of West Singhbhum district.

According to a delayed report received here, the girl, who had consumed hadia (popular rice beer among tribals), in an inebriated state slit the throat of her brother, who was playing in front of the house, Bertinus Kullu, Sub-divisional Police Officer, Jagannathpur, said.

The parents of the siblings were away for work when the incident took place yesterday.
The girl narrated the incident when the neighbours assembled soon after the bizarre event.

The girl has been arrested and sent to a remand home in Deoghar, Kullu said.
