Govt will not allow illegal mining: CM

Speaking to reporters after garlanding the statue of Ambedkar on the occasion of his 53rd death anniversary in front of Vidhana Soudha, Yeddyurappa said the Government has already issued instructions to all its offices in this regard. Steps will be taken to ensure that it is followed strictly, he added.

‘No illegal mining’

On the Opposition parties’ criticism on illegal mining, he said he has not issued any new mining lease ever since he became the CM. The Government will not allow illegal mining in future also, he added.
