The Mumbai-born beauty posed on the red carpet with James Franco, who plays the main lead in the film.

One of the highlights of the premiere was when ‘Harry Potter’ star Rupert Grint turned up to support his ‘Harry Potter’ co-star Tom Felton, who plays a villain in this apes reboot. The actor turned up to support his ‘Harry Potter’ co-star Tom Felton, who stars in the film, with a T-shirt proclaiming ‘I love Tom Felton.’

Felton himself looked sharp in a three-piece suit and sporting a light tan from his recent holiday to Rio. Also present were the rest of the cast and crew including the protagonist of the film Andy Serkis who plays Caeser, the ape.

Andy Serkis, best known for bringing Gollum and King Kong to life, portrays Ceasar, a chimpanzee who lives among humans as part of an experiment until he is forced into containment with normal primates.

Caesar sparks a rebellion among the apes and soon the world is engulfed in a battle over who is the dominant species. The prequel to the classic 1968 film is set in present-day San Francisco, where Franco’s character and a team of scientists develop genetic engineering which leads to an extraordinary level of intelligence in apes.
