<p>S Boopathy of Tamil Nadu and Richa D Chougule of Maharashtra completed a grand double in the boys’ and girls’ sections respectively in the KTPPA-AITA National Series under-12 tennis tournament at the Tennis Village courts here on Saturday. <br /><br />The second-seeded Boopathy upset top seed Dev Javia of Gujarat 6-4, 6-7 (4-7), 6-3 in the final to clinch the singles title to go with his doubles crown that he won partnering Mahesh Mohapatra of Orissa on Friday.<br /><br />Richa, who was seeded 11th, capped off her fine run, beating top seed Mubashira Anjum Shaik of Andhra Pradesh 1-6, 6-2, 6-2 in the girls singles final. </p>.<p>The Pune girl earlier had won the doubles title with her state-mate Prernra Vichare.<br /><br />The boys final, which lasted close to 170 minutes, was an engrossing affair as the hard hitting Boopathy was truly tested by a defensive but canny Javia.
