Exhibition to promote investments in Tier II, III cities

For the first time, the State Bank of India (SBI) and the Confederation of Real Estate Developers of India (Credai) will conduct a two-day State-level Credai-SBI realty expo-2014 at the SBI Headquarters on St Marks Road in the City on April 26 and 27.

The expo is different as developers and builders from tier II and III cities will showcase the properties in these cities, encouraging Bangaloreans to invest in them. Of 100 builders who will participate in the expo, about 30 to 40 are from Tier-II, III cities like Mysore, Mangalore, Udupi, Hubli-Dharwad, Gulbarga, Raichur, Belgaum and Karwar.

Further, people from these cities residing in Bangalore can now look at investing in their hometowns while continuing to stay in the State capital. The idea, Credai, says is to ensure that property development is not Bangalore-centric which is the case now.
