This Hudugaata girl was said to be a complete prankster during college days. A complete tomboy by nature, Rekha had no plans of entering the film industry in her initial years. “I was always an ‘outstanding’ student, since I hardly ever attended the classes,” she jokes.
“I attended two classes religiously and that were Psychology and Political Science. So, no guesses if I was a back-bencher or a front-bencher,” she says.
She remembers how she and a group of her close friends would bunk and hang around in the campus or Commercial Street and Brigade Road. Known to be quite stylish on screen, Rekha says she was least interested in the current fashion trends. “My style statement during college days was very simple and chilled out. You would always find me in jeans paired with a simple t-shirt,” she signs off.
