The 16 events were evenly spread throughout the day and this year saw many new events being incorporated. Among the new competitions were pot painting, fabric design, jewellery making, vegetable carving, bag design and entertainment quizzing.

The other events were cooking without fire, instrumental solos, debates, extempore speaking, poetry writing, a fashion show of Indian bridal wear, and a fresher queen contest.  “This year, for the first time Eve was conducted with a social cause attached to it — Awareness of Breast Cancer. Posters were put up all around college making people aware of the cancer. The girls wore pink ribbons in support of this cause,” said Shifa, the Ladies Co-ordinator of the Students' Council.

To entertain the girls, the boys put up a short performance where they sang and also did some impromptu humourous acting. Sunaina, a first year student said, “Being in a college where the guy girl ratio is 3:1, it's pretty amazing to have an entire day of entertainment, while the boys have to attend regular classes.”

Jemma, a final year student, said, “This was the best Eve I ever witnessed. The events brought out the true spirit of student life and the fun of being a modern day woman.”
